I am on a mission to promote a healthy work-life balance; one where productivity and self-care can work side by side and you don’t need to sacrifice one over the other.
HEY LOVELY READER!
As you might already be able to tell from my journal, I have an anti-hustle approach to life and choose to balance productivity with self-care daily.
I’m an ex-Londoner who used to live a very busy, alcohol-infused, fast-paced life. After leaving it all behind to solo travel across South East Asia and South America I realised how much I had been neglecting my mental and physical health. I made a promise to myself then and there to take better care of my mind, body and soul.
But putting my mental health and happiness first was made even more necessary when I started my business.
The online community seems to follow an unsustainable, hustle culture where working 18-hour days is the norm and rest is seen as lazy.
I’m therefore making it my mission to promote a healthy work-life balance, one where productivity and self-care can work side by side and you don’t need to sacrifice one over the other.
Oh and I’m famous for my slow mornings! You won’t see me waking up at half 6 every day and running a 5k, but rather mindfully ignoring my alarm, practising gratitude, stretching and reading a good old fiction book.
Along with being a self-care advocate, I am a major bookworm, food enthusiast and travel lover. My goal in life is to buy a vineyard in the south of France, drink wine all day and eat bread and cheese while reading in the sunlight.
But if that doesn’t happen then I’ll set up shop in Greece and eat fish by the sea – kind of a win-win situation either way.
And that’s basically me in a nutshell!
With love,
