Just in case no one told you this today…

It’s 100% normal not to have your life all figured out, yet.

Whether you’re in your twenties, thirties or beyond, your lack of direction does not define you.

It’s what you do about it that counts.

Instead of sitting in your “stuck-ness” check out the journal prompts below and start gaining clarity on what’s next so you can create a life that matters.

Journaling for self-discovery

From the moment we’re born, we’re funnelled down the same path.

  • Go to school
  • Go to uni
  • Find a job and keep it for 40 years
  • Buy a house
  • Get married
  • Have children
  • Retire at 63+

We live life on autopilot because of these expectations and never question whether it’s something we truly want. But we should. Because it might not be the right path for you.

Realigning with your most authentic self means making sure that your career, finances, health and relationships all fit around what you truly value.

And the best way to do this is through self-discovery and journaling.

Self-discovery is the process of figuring out who you really are, what you want to achieve and what you truly want out of life. Because spoiler: it might not look like working a mundane 9 to 5 job and staying in your hometown for your entire life.

Journaling for self-discovery involves exploring your core values, strengths, motivations and desires while also challenging your beliefs, thoughts and weaknesses.

Self-discovery is hugely transformative as it allows you to develop a deeper understanding of who you are at your core and ultimately find your real purpose in life.

Journaling is a pretty straightforward activity, as all you need is a notebook and pen, some motivation and the below journaling prompts.

You don’t need to answer all of these questions every time. Just choose 3-5 prompts from the list and add them to your monthly or weekly reset routine.
